Our freckled-face boy

Nine years ago today, we became parents for the second time, to the sweetest little boy. His blue eyes and adorable freckles melted our hearts THEN and NOW. His inquisitive nature, creativity and compassionate spirit continually reminds us that great things come in small packages. Happy 9th birthday Jake. You have captured our hearts. FOREVER.

Travel Approval? Not yet.

We are waiting, patiently waiting, to receive our travel approval from China. Initially, there was talk that approvals would be arriving on Monday or Tuesday. Since tomorrow is Thursday, I'm slowly losing hope that we will receive approval this week. Perhaps next week...lets hope so! Our little gal is going to be 14 months soon and needs to be home with her family.

In the meantime, we have been busy, busy, busy with 14 other babies. They are adorable, but not as cute as our little one in China.
